Relationship - A source or means of satisfaction.
So one of the most important concern of youth is about relationships. Looking all around couples can make a young boy upset who've been single. Well this is true that a young boy whose harmones are raging craves for a person with whom he can share his feelings or thoughts. And especially in a time when he sees most of the youth all around having fun with their partners. Owing to the lack of proper guidance and knowledge he might fall into the trap and can fall into illegitimate relationships that begins with a small drizzling of happiness and ultimately ends with a thunderstorm of depression and sadness and whose affect is adverse that can last up to whole life. It's natural that every human has the desire of being loved and cared by someone special. But depends upon the type of personality the intensity of this desire varies among individuals. Some youths are much interested in power, some in money, some in popularity while some in intimacy.
Allah has made women a means of satisfaction for men and vice versa. That is the reason we see young men & women seek strong desire for each other. However one mistake they do in that matter is that they do confuse this 'means of satisfaction' with 'source of satisfaction' i.e. a teenager boy who is just looking after a girlfriend is just worried about to get a girlfriend thinking that she can give him satisfaction. In that effort he hardly cares about the actual 'source of satisfaction' which is God. The boy thinks that it is not God who gives him satisfaction rather his girlfriend. So indirectly the boy do not consider God the All-powerful. The boy does any act to seek girlfriend without even considering God's suggestions.
And the boy finally got a girlfriend she stays with him and then ultimately leave him. What is mentioned for the boy is also true for girl. Well this is the summary of most of the relationships.
In reality the women no matter how beautiful and modest is or men no matter how handsome or good is cannot be a 'source of satisfaction '. It is not the attribute of human to be a source of any goodness. It is only Allah who is the 'source of satisfaction'. But Allah has created certain means through which we find satisfaction. Therefore men find satisfaction in women and women find satisfaction in men. But the 'means' are worthless without 'source'.
So it is foolishness to disobey or disregard the suggestions and commandments of Allah in the pursuit of finding satisfaction. You'll eventually be disappointed and depressed. The only way to achieve satisfaction is to be sincere try your best to fulfill Allah's commandments and do the right things which is suggested by Allah to seek a spouse which He made a means of happiness for you. And never think that you can achieve any satisfaction without Allah. I've seen couples who were ready to give their life for one another are now eager to take their life. So always believe in Allah and seek knowledge about what Allah and his messenger s.a.w has suggested into a matter and then pursue that path. This is the genuine and most simple way.
